Infinite ACS™ The infinitely adjustable ACS™ system provides a smooth braking curve from completely off (free spooling) to completely on (a total of 9 weights) giving you absolute control over the cast.
All-Metal Components All structural components on the new Tour Edition PT and Energy PT baitcast reels are made of aluminum alloy and CNC machined to exacting tolerances for the ultimate in strength and rigidity.
Saltwater Fishing Reels
Saltgard™ 6-Layer Finish starts with an anodized conversion coating that forms a dense molecular barrier on the aluminum. Two separate high temperature dip processes deposit a corrosion inhibitor in the microscopic pores of the aluminum, protecting it from saltwater intrusion even if it's scratched. The surface is then primer painted, followed by a base coat and a clear coat to provide additional protection and keep you reel looking its best.
